A story born from the worlds that inspire us.

The things that influence us should be able to become part of the way we dress, without becoming something we have to wear literally.

It began with a name, a rough sketch, and an idea in 2025.

Today, that idea has a name.

Astré.

IT STARTED WITH AN IDEA

In 2025, at just 17, M. Hashir began shaping the first concept for what would eventually become Astré.

There was little more than a name, a rough sketch, and a direction.

The idea was put aside while he finished high school and moved into the next chapter of his life. In August 2026, during a break from university, the concept returned, this time with the intention of becoming something real.

What began as an idea became a project.

The project became a brand.

And Astré began to take shape.

OUR FOUNDER

SOMETHING WAS MISSING

Anime, Japanese culture, and other forms of pop culture have become deeply woven into the creative world of a generation.

Yet fashion inspired by these worlds has often existed in a familiar form: character graphics, oversized references, and traditional fan merchandise.

But Astré was created around a different question:

What if inspiration could become fashion without becoming merchandise?

What if someone could express their appreciation for Japanese art and culture while still wearing something refined enough to belong in an everyday wardrobe?

WHAT IF YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO CHOOSE?

Astré was built around the meeting of two influences.

Japanese artistry

  • Color
  • Composition
  • Detail
  • Culture
  • Expression

THE BIRTH OF ASTRÉ

As the concept developed, the purpose became clearer.

Astré would not recreate the things that already existed.

It would reinterpret them.

Japanese art could influence a palette.

A familiar cultural reference could become something more subtle.

A feeling from another world could become a detail, a silhouette, or a composition.

The inspiration would remain.

But the expression would evolve.

WHY ASTRÉ?

The name Astré is inspired by the French word associated with a celestial body or star.

A star doesn't need to demand attention.

It simply has a presence of its own.

THE ART OF BEING NOTICED.

Being noticed isn't about being the loudest person in the room.

It is about presence.

A considered detail.

A distinctive silhouette.

A color that catches the eye.

A piece that feels different without trying too hard.

Astré believes that standing out should never require sacrificing refinement, character, or craft.

BY THE GENERATION WEARING IT

Astré comes from a generation that experiences culture without borders.

Inspiration can come from anywhere.

A Japanese anime.

A Western fashion house.

A photograph.

A film.

A city.

A piece of music.

A color.

The internet has made the world smaller, and personal style has become a reflection of influences from everywhere.

More Than A Brand

For M. Hashir, Astré became more than a fashion concept. It became the largest creative project of his life. The intention was never simply to create another business or another clothing label.

Astré represents an opportunity to take the things that inspire him, art, culture, design, fashion, and the worlds that shaped his taste, and turn them into something tangible.

Something that can be refined. Something that can evolve. Something that can be shared with the world.

Astré is built with the belief that a brand can be commercially driven without being created solely for commerce. It can have ambition and still have meaning. It can grow while remaining personal. And above all, it can become something worth caring about.
