Shi (死) Death Kanji | 4 of 7 | Astré Minimal Green Kanji Hoodie

死 | Shi | 4 of 7

The quiet presence of mortality.

死 (Shi), meaning death, is the fourth design in Astré's 7 Kanji Series. Set against light caramel fabric, the green Kanji typography creates a distinctive contrast, complemented by subtle detailing that gives the piece its signature character.

The softly structured fleece provides warmth and comfort, while the medium-heavy construction creates a substantial feel with a relaxed silhouette. Designed for cool mornings, late-night walks, quiet cafés, and everyday moments where simplicity speaks for itself.

Why You'll Want It

A refined expression of Japanese language and aesthetics, 死 explores mortality through a clean and deliberate design. Its green and black palette creates a distinctive visual balance, while the considered typography keeps the meaning at the centre of the piece.

As the fourth piece in the 7 Kanji Series, Shi introduces a deeper expression of the Japanese language.
